MEET OUR TEAM
George kloboucek
Director
George has been the Director of Associated Iron & Steel since 1986. Since migrating from the Czech Republic in his early life, George has established over 50 years’ experience in the steel fabrication business. He is responsible for overseeing & advising the direction of the business as well as quoting. He is passionate about the quality of his product, the safety of his team, and delivering premium customer service.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Maintenance Fitter/ Fitter & Turner
• Mechanical engineering college
• QUT Brisbane. Mechanical Engineering
NATHAN kloboucek
Managing Director
Nathan has a background in both trade and management, providing AI&S a comprehensive and adaptive management style. Nathan is responsible for the day to day running of the company and also major customer projects, as well as Human Resources and IT requirements. From liaising with clients and suppliers, to scheduling jobs, Nathan plays a pivotal role in clients achieving their own requirements on time, and on budget.

Lisa kloboucek
Account Manager
Lisa is responsible for accounts, payroll and service agreements. As the first point of contact, Lisa’s customer service is invaluable to our business. Lisa started at AI&S in 2012 after 25 years in marketing, accounting & business improvement roles in mining, manufacturing, marketing and market research industries. Her background is in marketing and analytics, which equips her to help identify new opportunities and improvements to our business.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Business in Marketing & International Business
Robert Bingham
Production Manager
Robert manages our production schedule to ensure that all jobs are progressing as per client requirements. His role also includes liaising with suppliers and customers, as well as with the foreman and staff. Robert started with AI&S in 1994 as a boilermaker tradesman and has utilised his trade and management experience by progressing to production manager.

Jack Shelley
Sales Manager
Jack is responsible for managing the total sales process at AI&S. He has over 29 years experience in sales in the mining and industrial sectors. Jack has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Employment Relations, a Diploma in International Business, and is a qualified mechanical engineering tradesperson. His vast background is of great value to our business and our clients.
