This machine has the capability of working as a Horizontal and Vertical mill simultaneously by using the swivel head. It allows us to complete complex milling jobs with ease, fewer setup procedures and reduced operations. Boring and cutting angle profiles can be done from both sides of work piece in just one setup.
Excellent cutting performance and superior surface finishes are all achieved by its high-rigidity roller gear cam structure with B-axis.
The VCF850LSR II is equipped with a 4th axis chuck, 3000mm X-axis travel (great for large lengthy jobs), a huge drum magazine which holds up to 60 tools which allows fast production speeds and greater efficiency.
However, with all this new technology, comes the complexity of enhanced programming, lucky for AI&S we have a number of highly skilled machinists controlling and operating this machine.
