Like for Like Manufacturing!
Our client sent their equipment away for end of service life testing and unfortunately for them, several pieces failed. Not being able to source the part locally, nor wait for the long lead times to have them delivered from overseas. The client reached out to AI&S and asked if we could replicate the item and manufacture a new piece. The item needed to bolt onto existing framework and pieces of equipment.
Using the old unit as a guide and having both a machine shop and a fabrication shop at the one facility, AI&S were able to replicate the unit successfully, complete with total alignment of the bores and machined surfaces.
