Our client came to us wanting to know if we could machine up the moulds for their plastic product production. These moulds need to be absolutely precise, very small tolerances and with no sharp edges that will cut the plastic as it gets removed from the mould.

The material used was an Aluminium block, 1200mm x 700mm x 70mm and our Doosan 5 axis machine made very easy work of it. After a final inspection by the client the moulds were ready for production.
